The 1999~2000 regular league season reached its climax on 8 March 2000, and on 22nd March the 31st annual Champion of Champions knock-out competition got underway.  On 29th March the Wise Old Owls Yorkshire Plate contest was inaugurated.  The finals of both competitions were played on 26th April.

Some thirty eight teams took part in our most recent league season.  Eight of the teams were from the Sheffield area, the remainder being organized into five West Yorkshire "conferences".
