The BBC have announced details of a
special quiz intended to generate interest in next year's Comic Relief.
It will be staged over five weeks during the run up to Red Nose Day
2001. The quiz, called '1000 to 1', will see the winner pick
up one thousand prizes!!!!!

Comic Relief and BBC Television are giving away the
biggest stash of goodies ever won by one person in a brand new quiz called
1000 to 1.
1000 contestants will be whittled down over 5 weeks
to one lucky winner who will walk away with a staggering 1000 prizes.
The competition is open to all supporters of Comic
Relief and 1000 of these fine folk will be invited along to participate in
the quiz. The questions are all multiple choice general knowledge.
Contestants with the fastest correct answers get to stay in the game.
The winner of the grand final will have the accolade
of beating the other 999 contenders and scoop an incredible 1000 gifts.
The prizes have been donated by the generous
companies and organisations which support Comic Relief and 1000 to One will help get the whole of the UK in the mood for Comic
Relief: Red Nose Day on 16th March 2001.
